Introduction

MSOC Plus is a progressive web app for studying and practicing MCQs of Medical Subjects.

MSOC Plus was intentionally created for Myanmar Medical Students who are studying from 2nd MBBS to FP-II MBBS to study and practice MCQs easily and comfortably with their devices in anyplace and anytime via internet access.

MSOC is the first ever Myanmar Medical MCQs application.

First Version, MSOC (android)

• MSOC was firstly created on Jan 22nd, 2019 at 9:57 am.
• The first announcement to public was done on Jan 24th, 2019 at 11:15 am.
• We published MSOC for the first time on March 9th, 2019.

At that time, it was built as an android app and could not be used on other devices apart from androids.

Second Version, MSOC Plus (web app)

• We started building MSOC Plus, the next version of MSOC, on Nov 21st, 2019.
• We published MSOC Plus on Nov 26th, 2019.

MSOC Plus was a web app and can be run on any device.

Until the end of 2020, we don't charge any service fee to our users, all MSOC Plus services are available for free of charge.

Third Version, MSOC Plus (web app, charge)

As the users grow, the available resources are used up. The firebase free services to our web app are almost consumed.

To continue MSOC Plus services in future, we decided to charge appropriate service fees to our users.

That's why:

• we remodified MSOC Plus web app again starting on Jan 5th, 2021 and
• published it on Jan 15th, 2021.

In the last version, all users have freetrial for one month. After freetrial, they must pay service fees to continue using MSOC Plus service. Other way, they have no longer access to "MCQ questions" and "Online MCQ Exam". But, they will still have access to other services.

Terms of Services for MSOC Plus

MSOC is the abbreviation as as describe below:

1. "M" stands for Medicine,
2. "S" for Surgery,
3. "O" for Obstetrics and Gynaecology and
4. "C" for Child(Paediatrics).

The addition of "Plus" reffers to the following abbreviations and branches.

• PPM
1. First "P" stands for Pathology: which is both general and systemic,
2. Second "P" for Pharmacology and
3. "M" for Microbiology.
• BPA
1. "B" stands for Biochemistry,
2. "P" for Physiology and
3. "A" for Anatomy.

The followings are branches and their respective abbreviations used in MSOC Plus.

1. MED - Medicine
2. SUR - Surgery
3. O or OG - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
4. C - Paediatrics


5. GP - General Pathology
6. SP - Systemic Pathology
7. PC - Pharmacology
8. MC - Microbiology


9. BC - Biochemistry
10. PS - Physiology
11. AN - Anatomy

These abbreviations are created and used by MSOC Plus to fit the restricted display on mobile devices. They may or may not be internationally accepted.

The word "MCQ or MCQs" stands for multiple choice question/s.

"User ID" is the unique indetification string generated spontaneously by server at the time of registration for each individual user.

Privacy Policy for MSOC Plus

At MSOC Plus, accessible at msocplus.web.app, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by MSOC Plus and how we use it.

Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Information we collect

By just visiting to our Web App, we never collect your information.

But when you register for an account, we will automatically save the following data from your facebook account.

1. Display name
2. Email
3. Profile photo

After registration, you can provide us:

1. Your new profile photo
2. Your new cover photo
3. Your school

When you study or practice MCQs, you can write your notes and save pictures to your notes.

When you create an exam and add exam questions, we save these data sparately and securely for examination process.

We don't colloect other information.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

1. Identify you and prevent fraud
2. Create a private space for you in our server
3. Provide, operate and maintain our Web App
4. Improve, personalize and expand our Web App
5. Understand and analyze how you use our Web App
6. Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
7. Communicate you via email in case of need

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other Web App, MSOC Plus uses ‘cookies' and 'third-party cookies' from google firebase.

These cookies are used to store information including users' preferences and google analytics.

The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on users' browser type and/or other information.

Third-party networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used for the analytics and statistics.

Note that MSOC Plus has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-parties.

You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options.

To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers' respective websites.

GDPR Privacy Policy (Data Protection Rights)

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

1. The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
2. The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.
3. The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
4. The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
5. The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
6. The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

Restrictions

The profile picture of a MSOC Plus user must not be the photo, which doesn't have the permission, of someone or something, to be used on MSOC Plus. If the profile picture of a MSOC Plus user is not free from any fraudulent then that profile picture will be deleted and replaced by "MSOC Plus provided profile" in soon.

MSOC Plus doesn't allow to use offensive words and offensive pictures on any places of MSOC Plus' prosterity, if so, that user will be punished accordingly.

License

Unless otherwise stated, MSOC Plus own the intellectual property rights for all material on MSOC Plus. All intellectual property rights are reserved. The logo of MSOC Plus is the absolute or authentic prosperity of MSOC Plus. The logo is completely not allowed to be used on any other places.

You must not:

1. Republish material from our Web App
2. Sell, rent or sub-license material from our Web App
3. Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from our Web App

Redistribute content from MSOC Plus (unless content is specifically made for redistribution). We allow to copy and redistribute only to those contents:

1. Exam questions with answers
2. Exam questions without answers

Hyperlinking to our Content

1. The following organizations may link to our Web site without prior written approval:
   1. Government agencies;
   2. Search engines;
   3. News organizations;
   4. Online directory distributors when they list us in the directory may link to our Web site in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Web sites of other listed businesses; and

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. MSOC Plus does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our Web App, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Acknowledgements

MSOC Plus is a kind of MCQ competition game, it doesn't determine the grade and qualification of any person but just how many correct answers you could make while using it and how much you spent your time with it.

We rank our players or users in the "rank page" and "challenge rank page" which never determine the grade and qualification of any person involved. The players or users were ranked in descending order according to the experiences or marks they scored.

Every Myanmar Medical Students have the same right and equal chance to have access to MSOC Plus, which is a prosperity of MSOC developers and was first being generously offered to all Myanmar Medical Students in free of charge.

But now, according to resource limitations of firebase services, we have to charge service fees to our users as the followings.

1. One Month Plan: 2000 K
2. Three Month Plan: 5000 K

We have to use those fees to buy firebase services such as cloud storage, app engine quotas and increase simultaneous connection counts etc.

Those who broke our privacy policies and were being banned from MSOC Plus and will not able to use MSOC Plus till the day his/her penalty ends.
